How we got here

Every serious conversation about human health eventually arrives at the same uncomfortable truth: the window that matters most is the one nobody is paying attention to.

We kept reading the same research. Gut architecture, shaped in the first decade. Neural wiring, laid down before age 10. Immune calibration, set in motion by microbiome diversity that develops, or doesn't, in early childhood. Mitochondrial density. Cellular resilience. The biological infrastructure of a long, healthy life.

All of it established, in large part, before a child turns 12.

And the supplement industry's response to this? Gummies. Sugar-coated, low-dose, artificially flavored gummies, or at best, five separate sachets cobbled together from five different brands, none of them using the ingredient forms the actual research was built on.

We thought someone would fix this. We waited. Nobody did.

You don't build a 90-year-old body at 45. You build it at 6. We just happened to be the first people annoyed enough to do something about it.

So we went into the clinical literature, not the supplement industry literature, and started from scratch. What does the peer-reviewed research actually say? What forms? What doses? What combinations?

We found that most of what was on the market was either the wrong form, the wrong dose, or both. Generic folic acid instead of methylated 5-MTHF. Fish oil that smells like a dock in July instead of algae-derived DHA that dissolves into anything. Citicoline from a commodity supplier instead of Cognizin®, the only form with actual pediatric data behind it.

We also found something nobody in the children's supplement space was talking about: compliance is everything. The most scientifically perfect formula on earth does nothing if a six-year-old refuses to take it. So tasteless wasn't a nice-to-have. It was the entire design brief.

The gut microbiome your child has at age 8 is largely the one they'll have at 48. The neural pathways forming now will shape how they think, feel, and focus for decades. This isn't alarmism, it's developmental biology. It just means the timing matters more than the industry has been willing to admit.

Form is not a detail. Form is the whole thing.

Folic acid and 5-MTHF are not interchangeable, especially for children with MTHFR variants, which is more common than anyone tells you. Ubiquinone and Ubiquinol CoQ10 behave differently in the body. The form of magnesium determines whether it works or causes a stomachache. We chose every form deliberately, and we'll tell you exactly why.

Dose is either clinical or it's theater.

Listing Cognizin® on a label at 10mg is marketing. Listing it at 100mg, the dose used in actual research, is a product. We match doses to the literature. If you want to check our work, every reference is on the ingredients page.

We tested every ingredient in its most neutral form. We reformulated when anything left a trace of taste, color, or smell. We built a product that disappears into yogurt, juice, and oatmeal, because a supplement that starts an argument every morning is not a supplement. It's a tax on your patience.
